ABOUT USGenPro Power Systems, Inc. was founded in 1993 as an independent standby generator service company providing maintenance and repair services in South Dakota, Eastern Wyoming, Western North Dakota and Western Nebraska. Within six (6) months from the company's’ startup date we received our first generator sales and service dealership.
Based on our mission statement, “To be recognized as a leader in the power generation market measured through customer satisfaction”, GenPro put in place a plan for diversification within the power industry. Over the years we have developed an in- house expertise to supply, install, integrate and maintain all areas of custom power solutions, including generators, transfer switches, UPS distribution and other subsystems. Our retail generator sets are available in a wide range of configurations, including air and liquid cooled, diesel, gasoline and natural gas fueled, 50 and 60 hertz, and in sizes ranging from 6 to 2800 KW. GenPro currently has distributorship agreements with six (6) major generator manufacturers in the U.S. GenPro also maintains distributorships, dealerships, and OEM agreements with other manufacturers of related products to support our generator product lines.
One of the most important components of our diversification plan was to supply custom portable and mobile generator systems. In 2002 GenPro designed and distributed remote water well site generator systems for the ranching and farming communities throughout the Midwest. From these meager beginnings our single, custom built generator system has grown to over a dozen different products currently being purchased by Telecommunication companies, Commercial companies and Government agencies, including the U.S. military.
In 2005 GenPro pursued, and secured, a private label agreement with a U.S. manufacturer for the design and build of a custom product line of power generation equipment. GenPro selected a well established U.S. manufacturer that has been designing and supplying standby and prime generator sets for over 40 years. GenPro’s private label generators range from 25KW to 2800 KW under GenPro’s Trademark name of “Powerdak”. GenPro’s private label agreement assures that its’ products and services are not limited to a geographical area of distribution and sales. GenPro supplies product globally, including, but not limited to, systems installed in West Africa, South America, Iraq, Kuwait, India, Afghanistan, the Caribbean and Mongolia, just to highlight a few. In 2006 the Department of Defense requested that we apply for a GSA contract to make it easier for the military branches to be able to purchase our products. In August 2006 we received our GSA contract for a period of five years, with extension options up to 20 years.
In March 2007, GenPro received a request to build remote water well generator systems for a regional farm and ranch supply company under a private label agreement. A contract was completed in May 2007, and the first order of 20 units was received.
With the development of custom portable and mobile generator systems for military applications the main Corporation, GenPro Power Systems, Inc., created a retail division called GenPro Power Services LLC, which would be responsible for our sales and service distributorships in our domestic market. Also, we added independent sales and service representatives to further expand our capabilities in that market. These additions enable the main Corporation to focus on continued development of deployable generator systems.
Effective January 1, 2009 GenPro Power Systems Inc. Manufacture of the Powerdak Products separated their Retail Sales and Service division from the main company and created GenPro Power Services LLC a solely owned subsidiary of Gen Power Power Systems Inc.
2009 brought about the designing of a deployable solar and wind hybrid power module.
In July 2009 GenPro Power Systems Inc. entered into an agreement with DynGlobal LLC to build their DG24/7 Mod 1 Solar Powered Hollow Fiber water filtration product, with Arsenic Removal. DynGlobal has partnered with the world’s leading suppliers, GE, Dow Chemicals and GenPro to provide leading water purification and renewable energy solutions. The first order for 50 systems from GenPro was placed in October 2009.
January 2010 brought a additional agreement for GenPro Power Systems with Nimbus Water Soluations to build their Solar and Wind Powered Hybrid water filtration systems. Nimbus Water Systems manufactures RO and UF filtration water treatment equipment for homes and businesses worldwide.
Also in January 2010 a agreement for GenPro Power Systems was made with Shift Power Solutions, a new venture start up company in Alternative Energy and Power Management. GenPro will be building their Solar and Wind Hybrid Power Modules.
We will continue to strive for excellence, not only in our product lines, but as a leader in the power generation market.
